Our online service on Sunday 31st January at 10.30am This Sunday is *BMS World Mission Day of Prayer and our Mission Action Group will be leading the service. We will be taking a closer look at how God is at work in Chad through the work of the BMS supported Guinebor II hospital.The main talk will be given by NHS Doctor Monty Lyman who reminds us that we are called to be image bearers for God. A weekly series of six Bible Studies on the Letter to the Galatians, led by Rev Ralph Hanger, commenced on Thursday 7th January at 7.30pm on Zoom. (This series will be followed by a series for Lent starting on 18th February.) The studies last for just over an hour. Full discussion is encouraged! In view of the present high rates of Coronavirus infections the church leadership has decided that a plan to re-open our building for worship on 17th January cannot go ahead. (This decision has since been affirmed by a recommendation from the Baptist Union). Services will continue to be streamed each Sunday for the foreseeable future and the question of returning to the premises to worship will be kept under review.

We are a very varied and diverse group of people who are seeking to express our love for God and our thankfulness for Jesus who secured for us the hope of eternal life. It is not easy and we are not perfect, but we want to serve God in our city and beyond. with our ministers, Rev Graham Banks and Rev Neil Martin we are starting to discover the new things that God has in store for us while continuing valuable ministry that has been going on for many years. You would be most welcome to join us as we grow our faith together. |

Church Centre and CafeCentre and Cafe currently closed The many rooms that make up the church premises are available for use by groups and organisations for activities that are compatible with the building's main use. More details can be found here. The Meeting Place cafe is open 11am to 2pm, Monday to Friday with a variety of light meals and snacks. |
